What to expect
Cannes Yachting Festival is hosted across Vieux Port, Palais des Festivals and Port Pierre Canto:
Vieux Port: The main exhibition area, Vieux Port, presents new models from leading international shipyards with in-water motor and sailing yachts from 10-55 metres.
The Super Yachts Extension (SYE) is home to the Show’s largest vessels with a wide range of motor and sailing yachts 25-metre+, some reaching 55 m. This is also where the free public shuttle leaves for Port Pierre Canto.
The Jétee (JÉTEE) Jétee Albert Edouard, the closest quay to the Palais, hosts the world’s largest shipyards, the most famous names in luxury yachting. Engine manufacturers, a variety of service exhibitors, and some of the Festival’s partners will also be found here.
The Pantiero (PAN) presents smaller, high-end motor boats. This space displays open, sports, flybridge and sport fishing boats. You will also find insurance and service companies, the Equipment Village and marine accessories for fishing, marine optics, etc.
The Catamarans zone (CAT), presents around forty 12 to 35-metre sailing and motor catamarans exhibited in water.
Quai Saint-Pierre (QSP) presents many 12 to 25-metre craft: a wide range of large sailing and motor boats, including traditional, open, and flybridge.
Quai Max Laubeuf (QML) hosts over 160 vessels. The powerboating industry as well as the RIB Village — home to all the inflatable and semi-rigid boats; ideal for buyers taking their first steps as boat owners — are displayed both on land and in water.
The 2nd edition of the Concours d’Élégance: The ultimate dayboat défile will be held on Thursday 8 September from 5 pm at Vieux Port whereby you can see the sleekest vintage and contemporary day boats under 12 metres. There is a maximum of 20 entries after which an award ceremony will be held at the VIP Club at 7 pm.
Palais des Festivals: Here, you’ll find a number of exhibitors representing shipyards, interior designers, architects, financial advisors, and other nautical service activities. Along the beach outside, are Toys and Tender zones.
Additionally, a new and exclusive partnership with Studio Harcourt will further amplify the prestige of the event. Studio Harcourt is renowned for its photography of stars including Edith Piaf, Cate Blanchett, Salvador Dali etc and Festival attendees have a unique opportunity for a make-up and photo shoot session, with their very own Harcourt Paris Portrait to take home as a souvenir. A maximum of 40 portraits will be shot during Cannes Yachting Festival (charges apply).
La Terrase: La Terrasse is exclusively reserved for luxury industry stakeholders and high-end services at this year’s event.
Ideally situated at the departure of the VIP shuttles, this new privileged area overlooks Vieux Port and its 500 yachts on one side, and the Cannes bay and Croisette on the other.
